Сегодня, 7 сентября, в честь 73-й годовщины Освобождения Донбасса от немецко-фашистских захватчиков на мемориальном комплексе «Саур – Могила» состоялось торжественное возложение цветов к монументу воинам – освободителям. На мероприятии присутствовали Глава Донецкой Народной Республики Александр Захарченко, и.о заместителя Председателя Совета министров ДНР Дмитрий Трапезников, а также руководители министерств и ведомств Республики, депутаты Народного Совета ДНР и другие официальные лица. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, в начале мероприятия прошла панихида по погибшим солдатам ВОВ и военнослужащим ДНР. Почтить память солдат собралось более 10 тысяч человек.
«У нас сегодня знаменательный день. 73 года назад наши славные предки выкинули с нашей земли немецко-фашистских захватчиков. Два года назад внуки и правнуки наших дедов показали, что достойны славы воинов — освободителей и не пустили врага на нашу землю. Устояли. Победили. Победили духовно, победили силой сердца, силой духа. На этой святой земле лежат герои двух Отечественных войн. Рядом с нашими дедами похоронены наши братья, мужья, сыновья. Я уверен, как бы не было тяжело, мы восстановим наш Донбасс, сделаем нашу жизнь счастливой, и наши дети никогда не будут видеть войны. Вечная память павшим! Вечная слава живым!»,- сказал Глава ДНР Александр Захарченко.
После вступительного слова Глава ДНР возложил цветы к Вечному огню на Мемориальном комплексе «Саур-Могила» в память о погибших солдатах.

The event was attended by Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko, Acting Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the DPR Dmitriy Trapeznikov, as well as heads of ministries and departments of the Republic, deputies of the DPR People’s Council and other officials. According to the correspondent of the official website of the DPR, at the beginning of the event the funeral service for the fallen soldiers of the Second World War and soldiers of the DPR took place. More than 10 thousand people gathered together to honor the memory of the soldiers.
“Today we have a memorable day. 73 years ago, our glorious ancestors threw the fascist invaders out from our land. Two years ago the grandchildren of our grandfathers showed that they are worthy of the soldiers-liberators’ glory and kept the enemy out of our land. They withstood. And won. They won spiritually, and defeated by the power of the heart, by the power of the spirit. The heroes of two Patriotic Wars are buried in this sacred land. Our brothers, husbands and sons are buried next to our grandfathers. I am sure: no matter how hard it can be, we will restore our Donbass, will make our life happy, and our children will never see a war. Eternal memory to the fallen! Eternal glory to the living!” Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko said.
Following the introduction, the Head of the DPR laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in the Memorial Complex Saur Mogila in memory of the fallen soldiers.
