Children are the future. The future of our country depends on who our children will become. On September 1, the new academic year in the DPR starts for the third time.
The first school day of the year was met in a ceremonial atmosphere by thousands of schoolchildren and students of the Donetsk People's Republic.
Many first-formers and older children, whose parents work in the court system of the DPR, stood on the celebratory assembly in schools, lyceums, technical schools, dozens of students joined the ranks of universities of Donbass and Russia to begin or continue mastering knowledge.
According to the tradition already established, Eduard Yakubovskiy the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the DPR as a guest of honor visited the sponsored Donetsk school No.49.
This school, for the first time in ten years, achieved an important goal – it complemented two 10th forms, and the eleven-graders who graduated this year have all been enrolled to universities for subsidized study, two of them entered universities of the Russian Federation.
In school No.49, studies Nikita Masenets, the son of an employee of the judiciary, the grandson of the hero of the DPR, the young sports "star" of the Republic. On the celebratory assembly the public organization Oplot Donbassa awarded him a memorable gift so that the boy remembered and was proud of his ancestors, who defended his childhood and the right to speak his native language.
Celebrations on the occasion of the first school day also took place at the Donbass Academy of Law. Young students, boys and girls, were encouraged by Eduard Yakubovsky, who takes a great interest in the fate of this educational institution which supplies qualified personnel, including the judicial system of the republic.
