As of June 30, 2018, in the Military Field Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic there were pending:
– 86 criminal cases against 121 persons, including 85 persons held in custody. In 2018 there were registered 34 criminal cases against 51 persons, of them 30 held in custody;
– 5 criminal materials against 8 persons held in custody, of which 4 criminal materials against 7 persons held in custody were registered in 2018.
34 criminal cases against 48 persons, of them 30 held in custody, have been already heard.
Upon the results of the consideration:
– the Court delivered a judgement of conviction on 26 criminal cases against 38 persons, of them 26 in custody;
– 5 judgements of dismissal were delivered against 5 persons, including 1 held in custody;
– 2 criminal cases against 4 persons, including 2 held in custody, were sent for re-investigation;
– 1 criminal case against 1 person was transferred according to jurisdiction.
As of June 30, 2018, the Military Field Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic have already heard 3 criminal materials against 6 persons held in custody.
As of June 30, 2018, remain unheard 54 criminal cases and materials, including 52 criminal cases against 73 persons, of them 55 held in custody, including 2 criminal cases against 2 persons suspended due to putting the accused on the wanted list, 2 cases over compulsory measures of medical character against 2 persons held in custody; 2 criminal materials against 2 persons held in custody.
As of June 30, 2018, in the Military Tribunal as the Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic there were 58 criminal cases pending against 114 persons, of them 93 held in custody, including 24 cases against 30 persons registered in 2018.
22 criminal cases against 37 persons, of them 31 held in custody, have been already heard.
Upon the results of the consideration:
– judgements were delivered on 17 cases against 27, of them 25 persons held in custody;
– judgements of dismissal were delivered on 2 cases against 2 persons;
– judgement on sending a case for re-investigation was delivered on 2 criminal cases against 7 persons, including 5 held in custody;
– 1 judgement on compulsory measures of medical character was delivered on 1criminal case against 1 person held in custody.
Remain unheard 36 cases against 77 persons, among whom 62 are held in custody, including suspended proceeding on 1 case against 2 persons due to putting the accused on the wanted list.
Apart from this, in the first half of 2018, in the Military Tribunal as the Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic, there were pending:
– 24 petitions (requests) with criminal cases on changing/ determining jurisdiction. Upon their consideration there were delivered judgements on determining the jurisdiction of a criminal case, on transferring a case for consideration on the merits to another court.
– 7 appeals against actions (omissions) by people holding an inquest, by inquiry bodies, investigators, heads of investigation departments, prosecutors; and appeals against orders to dismiss criminal complaint, to initiate and terminate a criminal case. Upon their consideration 5 appeals were left undecided, 2 appeals was dismissed.
