On November 17, 2017, there was held the regular Plenum by the Supreme Court of the People's Democratic Republic.
The plenum was attended by Marina Podsushnaya, the representative of the General Prosecutor's Office of the DPR, Yakov Hodos, the First Deputy Minister of Justice of the DPR, the Plenum was opened by Eduard Yakubovskiy , the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the DPR.
During the plenum there were adopted resolutions of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic "On Amendments to Ruling No. 12 of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic dd June 30, 2017 "On the application by courts of legislation regulating criminal liability for theft, looting and robbery"", "On Amendments to Ruling No. 2 of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic dd September 4, 2015 "On the practice of applying legislation in cases of crimes related to illegal trafficking of drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues or precursors, potent and poisonous substances""," On Amendments to Ruling No. 1 of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic dd September 4, 2015 "On the practice of appointing a criminal punishment by the courts"". The speaker on these issues was Dmitry Yeryomin Deputy Head of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic, the head of the Criminal Chamber.
Also, the Plenum adopted a ruling "On the judicial practice of the Donetsk People's Republic on applying the provisions of Chapter 33 of the Criminal Code of the Donetsk People's Republic related to official and certain other crimes against military service."
One of the most important decisions of the Plenum was a ruling "On the Approval of the Statute on the Scientific Advisory Council under the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic and Determination of Its Personal Composition". The speaker on this point was Yulia Bezruchenko, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic.
