Essentuki Municipal Court of the Stavropol Territory arrested Yatsenyuk A.P. in absentia in the case of military operations in Chechnya in the 1990s

The Yessentuki Municipal Court has considered the petition for the preventive measure of detention against Yatsenyuk A.P. former Prime Minister of Ukraine accused of crimes under Part 2 of Art. 209 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, pp. "c", "h", "m" Art. 102, Part 2 of Art. 15, pp. "c", "h", "m" Art. 102 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. The petition was submitted by the inspector on serious crimes of the fifth bureau of the Serious Crimes Investigation Department of the Central Investigation Department of the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus Federal District.

The press service of the Yessentuki Municipal Court informs the following:

"The decision of the court against Yatsenyuk selected in absentia a preventive measure in the form of detention, due to the fact that on February 21, 2017 there was issued an international arrest warrant against him. And it is indicated that the term of imprisonment should be calculated from the moment of arrest of the accused on the territory of the Russian Federation or his extradition to the Russian Federation."

Recall that in September 2015, the head of the Alexander Bastrykin, Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation, informed that, according to the investigation, "Arseniy Yatseniuk took part in at least two armed conflicts that took place on December 31, 1994 at Minutka Square in the city of Grozny, and in February, 1995 in the area of the City hospital No. 9 in Grozny, as well as in torturing and executing captive Russian soldiers in the Oktyabrsky district of Grozny on January 7, 1995." According to the Head of the Investigation Committee, the former Prime Minister of Ukraine was also awarded the "Honor of the Nation" award of Dzhokhar Dudayev for the extermination of the Russian servicemen.

The set out facts objectively testify to the fact that holding high state positions and ranks will not allow the criminal to escape liability to prosecution for what he has done and will make sure that he will receive the punishment he deserves.

This court decision undoubtedly caused a wave of indignation among the representatives of the fascist regime of Ukraine, since in this "law-bound" state they have long been accustomed to fully control and manage the "independent judicial system" and writing of such decisions is simply impossible in country dominated by Nazism.
