On 18th September, 2018, Denis Pushilin, the caretaker Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic held a session of the Council of Ministers of the Donetsk People’s Republic. This was reported by the press service of the Council of Ministers.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers was attended by Alexei Ananchenko, acting as the Deputy Chairman of the DPR Council of Ministers, Vladimir Antonov, acting as the Deputy Chairman of the DPR Council of Ministers, and Yekaterina Matyushchenko, acting as the Deputy Chairperson of the DPR Council of Ministers.
Denis Pushilin heard reports of the ministers and the heads of the departments on the implementation of a number of tasks that had been assigned to the Council of Ministers at the previous meeting.
Viktor Yatsenko, acting as the Minister of Communications of the DPR reported to Denis Pushilin about the situation with the Vodafone Ukrainian provider in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“For the guaranteed coverage of the DPR territory with Vodafone communications, 211 cell towers are needed. As of today there are about 350 thousand Vodafone provider subscribers in the Republic. About 3 million rubles are required monthly for compensation of the costs of the functioning of communications,” Viktor Yatsenko said.
Denis Pushilin instructed the Ministry of Communications to work out proposals, taking into account the interests of subscribers. “I charge you to take comprehensive measures to stabilize the work of the Vodafone mobile communications provider in the territory of the Republic, and if necessary, to develop an appropriate regulatory legal act. In addition, the Ministry of Communications should improve the quality of voice communications of the Phoenix republic provider,” Denis Pushilin said.
At the previous meeting of the DPR Council of Ministers, Vladimir Antonov, acting as the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Donetsk People’s Republic was charged to take control of the issue of making up and coordinating schedules for supplies of constructional materials for social facilities as well as of halite for the needs of road facilities and boiler houses. As part of the assignment, Sergei Naumets, acting as the Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities reported on the results of the Ministry’s work on this issue.
“I charge Vladimir Antonov, acting as the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, who supervises this area, to monitor the supply of constructional materials and halite at a stated time,” highlighted Denis Pushilin.
Vladimir Antonov was also charged to work out a list of the Republic’s needs for urban buses, school buses, ambulance vehicles, as well as special utility and road machinery.
