Today, on September 24th, Denis Pushilin, the caretaker Head of the Donetsk People's Republic introduced Andrei Kim, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic, a correspondent of the DPR official website reports.

The ceremony of introduction was also attended by Nikolai Tokarenko, the first Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic, Lilia Reznikova, Deputy Chairwoman of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic – the Head of the Judicial Chamber on Civil Cases, Natalia Mogutova, Deputy Chairwoman of the Supreme Court – the Head of the Military Tribunal, Dmitry Yeremin, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic – the Head of the Judicial Chamber on Civil Cases, the directors of the organization departments of the judicial system and qualified judges.

“Dear colleagues. As you know, I signed the Decree 6 of the seventh September appointing Andrei Viloriyevich Kim as the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The procedure for conferring authority on the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court requires his formal introduction. In order to comply with the necessary procedural rules, I declare Andrei Vilorievich Kim the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People’s Republic and and I ask him to take up his administrative duty.

We know Andrei Viloriyevich as an experienced lawyer and highly skilled specialist. He is the person with an unblemished reputation and a firm principled stand.

A lot of work has to be done. I expect that under your leadership the Supreme Court will reach a qualitative level,” Denis Pushilin said.

Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Andrei Kim thanked interim Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin for the trust.

“For our part, my colleagues and I will try to do our best to protect the constitutional rights of our citizens. We will try to obtain as much justice as possible, so that all our decisions are open, transparent, so that the judges are impartial in passing sentences. In addition, we will try to fulfill in the shortest possible time those tasks that the highest judicial authority is now facing,” Andrei Kim said.
